About Matter-z products
Matter-z produce beauty products according to the waterless beauty technique. They have developed formulations for water-free lotion bars.
- The bars are multi-purpose and can be used on the face, body, hands and feet.
- They are about 5 times more concentrated than regular moisturizers so you only need a little to maintain soft, healthy skin.
- The lotion bars contain shea butter, cocoa butter, jojoba oil, almond oil and grapeseed oil.
- All Matter-z products are natural and vegan friendly and don’t contain sulfates or preservatives.
Important: Lotion bars soften at high tempratures, so it is recommended to store them at a temperature of up to 25 degrees, in the designated storage container.
When the moisture bar softens it does not spoil and it can be returned to a solid state by a short stay in the refrigerator.
If softened due to high temperatures, it can be used by taking a small amount with your fingers and applying.
About waterless beauty
Waterless beauty products are produced without water which has a number of environmental benefits.
- Firstly, and pretty obviously, less water. Most beauty products contain between 70 to 90% water.
- Another impact of removing water from beauty products is that they no longer need chemical preservatives. Bacteria and fungi grow in water so water-based products need preservatives that oil-based or butter-based products do not.
- Solid, waterless products also need much less packaging and are significantly lighter so reducing their transportation footprint.So, in short, waterless products are good for you and good for the environment. What could be better?
